Goodness, I was sweating blood when making that yellow jacket (for the makers amongst us: I am sure you know exactly what I mean)…I love it to pieces, and it looks absolutely beautiful, but it was a stony way getting there. Anyhow, is this not how it always goes, with things that are very precious to us?
May I introduce you to the one and only (literally) peace silk jacket for spring. I created a special lining for it, and did some matching marble print in yellow for the sleeves and collar. But you will only see when actually holding it in your hands:). In order for it to keep the colour and shape when cleaning it, I had to pre-wash the fabric. Washing 6m of silk, by hand, is an interesting undertaking. But it was worth it…
It wouldnt have been the same without our amazing models who did their job with excellence!
Thank you Steffie, Anna, Caro, Johanna, Ann-Marie & Nati for being most awesome, diligent and beautiful;) It has been a pleasure working with you; any time again!
And thank you FLORES for equipping us with those most wonderful bouquets, we loved them so much!
After a malicious virus I am back on track and want to share the video from the first public fashion show I could show a capsule collection.
Have a look here:
To all those who attended the show and / or said hi at the showroom: a huge thank you from my side; you made my day. I have had no almost no voice that day and could barely speak. But having so many loyal friends & family who helped me out selling or just bringing me a cup of tea or some medicine…thats just priceless. You are hero’s!
Also a big thank you to all those wonderful ladies who purchased my products. It has been a pleasure serving you and I hope by now, all of your ordered garments have arrived safely in your closet 😉
I am working on a new project, and its about food. Since I love food and everything related to it, I actually find unexpected joy in working with very different material than usual. Nevertheless, I am kind of challenged that it needs to fit a male body!
We are talking about an apron. It could be very simple, but not this one, as my customer has very specific needs who needs to be fulfilled. I totally get that, an apron can come in very handy when it is actually thought through regarding “storage room” for specific items such as keys, pens, towels, notes etc.
What I am using:
- organic cotton jeans fabric as a base
- cork for belt and neck
- carabiner & press buttons
I tried to find a way to keep true to my philosophy, therefore I am working with material that is sustainable: cotton & cork.
